We Want Your Views for the Civil Society Forum!
The Civil Society Forum aims to bring the voices of persons with disabilities and their representative organisations (OPDs) at the Global Disability Summit.
- 11 November 2021
The International Disability Alliance (IDA) and the Atlas Alliance, in consultation with the Civil Society Reference Group (CSRG) are organising a Civil Society Forum as a part of the Global Disability Summit 2022.
The Civil Society Forum aims to bring the voices of persons with disabilities and their representative organisations (OPDs) at the Global Disability Summit.
At the Forum, we will discuss important issues for the global disability movement that the Summit might not cover. For instance, some issues related to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). Our goal is to create additional space for Civil Society to contribute to the Summit. The Civil Society Forum will be held on 15 February 2022, one day before the GDS22.
How can you participate?
We want to include your views and thoughts to make the Forum as inclusive as possible. You can share your ideas through this form by December 3, 2021.
For more information or any questions, you might have, please contact the GDS Secretariat, at summit@ida-secretariat.org.
Help us in securing a meaningful consultation!
