The German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS), the European Disability Forum (EDF), and the German Disability Alliance (DBR) organized a High-Level European Regional Disability Summit on the 6th of December in Berlin, Germany. The aim of this summit was to raise awareness and discuss the importance of inclusive international cooperation and humanitarian action with partners from greater Europe and Central Asia in collaboration with Organisations of Persons with Disabilities. The summit addressed the implementation and monitoring of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) to ensure comprehensive advancements in disability rights.

Draft Outcome Document from the European Regional Disability Summit – Call for Feedback
The co-hosts of the European Regional Disability Summit, in collaboration with the disability community, have prepared a draft outcome document outlining priorities and recommendations to guide impactful commitments for the Global Disability Summit 2025.
Persons with disabilities, OPDs, and stakeholders were invited to review the draft and share their feedback on the draft document.
